best christmas yet

Somehow I survived through exams and did fairly well. Once all that stress was over it was time to get into the Christmas Cheer. This year has definitely been the best Christmas holiday and it has barely even started! This is probably the first year that I have not wanted any presents at all. This year was all about the giving and appreciating everything I already have.
My poor puppy, we force her to wear ridiculous antlers then take pictures with us because it's cute! I made up for it by buying her a stocking and a few presents haha. My best friend left for Singapore yesterday so we celebrated Christmas a little early, this year will be the first without her but I hope I'll manage.
Then I had a few ladies over for a Christmas party/ gift exchange/ ugly christmas sweater party. We had a good time with some good laughs.
My favorite thing this year was shopping for "the perfect gift" for everyone then wrapping them the nicest I could. I also made and decorated some pretty cute Christmas cookies that tasted pretty good.
The top gifts on my list included cologne, mittens, ski passes and bath and bodyworks goodies. But my best gift by far was volunteering at the hospital on Thursday, made me feel super good. Today my boyfriend and I exchanged gifts. He got me the cutest hoodie with a shirt and a belt. I was impressed with the presents he chose. He did a good job this year!
I am so excited for tomorrow I can't sleep!

On another note, I've really been missing my Grandpa lately. This was a picture of us last Christmas. He wasn't doing so well but he was happy.
 Grandpa,
You were here for Christmas with me last year. It feels like just yesterday. Still can't believe that I won't be seeing you in the morning and that I won't be coming over to visit you every week at your home.
Merry Christmas Grandpa
I hope you get everything you want for Christmas.
Watch over Grandma for me so she gets home safely.
I love you.
